THINGS TO DO BEFORE YOUR CLOSING



Your closing is coming soon! Here is a list of items that could be done just prior to that date.


BEFORE YOUR CLOSING

• Let your family and friends know about your new address

• Call the cable company for your new service and hook up

• Schedule your new trash services (garbage, recycling, yard waste)

• Transfer service to your name with utility companies (gas, electric, telephone, water and sewer)

• Schedule lawn service if desired

• Get your new furniture and/or appliances ready - if you purchase new furniture and/or appliances, arrange for the store to deliver the packages on or just after closing day

• Prepare for the move - if you are hiring movers, call them a couple weeks in advance to book your day and time
